Not so good

I called Harvey's gym today and left a message but no one called back. I called them a few times. The rain today was horrible and a lot of areas had flooding. Tommy sent me pictures of water up to the door of their house.



I did not do so well with my diet. I fried chicken breast instead of grilling or baking and had portion sizes that were too large. I had lite microwave popcorn. Let's see did I have my 5 fruits and vegetables today. Banana, Strawberries, potatoes, salad... yes there were 5+portions.



I also had a sugar baby candy from the dollar store.



I had sugar free popscicles but they were ok.



OK now for how I felt. I had a headache most of day and now it feels like neck tension. I found my tens unit. Thank you god. I have it running on my neck now.



I think I let relationship issues and depression affect my eating. I also feel like I have a hormone inbalance right now that has made me feel very irritated today. I think the antibiotics for the cold caused it.



Review of food for the day shows too many portions of potatoes. Chicken should have been prepared differently and smaller portion eaten. Candy should have been skipped.

Rainy Day

It is Saturday. I stayed up to late last night playing on the computer. Slept in this morning and woke up with a headache. It is pouring rain outside. Some areas even have a flood watch.

I had 2 servings of baked potato for Brunch and have chicken breast in frig to thaw. I have things in frig to make an awesome salad but I just need to do it. That often seems to be the problem. I buy things and don't take the time to prepare them.

I need to clean house today and call Harvey's about the special.

My First Blog


This is my first real blog. I want to blog my journey to better health. How will I get there -- One healthy choice at a time. I plan to join Harvey's gym if they still have the special. I think early morning workouts may be what I need to do to build strength and jumpstart my day. After work, I never want to go so hopefully morning will work. If I can be at the gym by 6:30 and workout for an hour, that would be good. One of the gyms is very close to where I live now.
I got my hair cut yesterday, but I don't have a picture for it yet. I am not sure if I like the new look or not.
